It started long before we opened our doors

Our founder spent years in the corporate world before he felt the pull to build something different: something that would bring his whole family together and make a difference in the community. That became a ministry that gave back to nonprofits, and in time it grew into Collective Way.

The family talked about opening a coffee house for years. Then our daughter discovered a love for baking, and the family went looking for a place where she could share it. The perfect place to sell pastries, it turned out, is a coffee house. When a family friend mentioned a space in Parker Square, the pieces finally came together.

Why "Cerulean Blue"?

For years the family has vacationed in Destin, Florida: a place to get away, reconnect and spend time together. Looking back through vacation photos one day, they asked what shade of blue that water was. The answer was cerulean blue, and it stuck. It's the feeling we wanted to bring home to Flower Mound: the warmth of the sun, the calm of the ocean, and being together.

Family owned, community focused

Today the whole family has a part in it, from the kitchen to the espresso bar. And everything we do comes back to one idea: when you walk through our doors, we want you to feel as comfortable as you would in your own home.
