Questions

Good questions, answered.

What's the difference between direct trade and fair trade?

Fair Trade is a certification that tries to protect fair wages and working conditions, but it has loopholes, and it costs more than many small growers can afford. Direct trade means we buy straight from the farmers, skipping the middlemen, so we can focus on quality and pay them above market rates.

What does single origin mean?

All the beans in the bag come from the same farm. Only the very best coffees get that solo spotlight.

Is your coffee fresh?

Yes. We roast to order, so your coffee is roasted after you buy it.

Whole bean or ground?

Your choice. Every coffee comes either way.
